Introduction

The Stable Isotope Ecosystem Laboratory of UC Merced (SIELO) seeks to bring state-of-the-art techniques to enable researchers at UC Merced and beyond to use stable isotope analysis across environmental and ecological systems. We also engage in education and training for the next generation of scientists with a special interest in the natural sciences and  research performed at UC Merced. We strive to conduct and support research that is both interdisciplinary and inclusive for any person interested in stable isotopes, regardless of field, and to create an accessible environment.

The SIELO is located on the main UC Merced campus in Science and Engineering 1, room 283.
