SIELO Rates & Services
The Stable Isotope Ecosystem Laboratory provides analyses of several substrates for Internal (University of California System), External (other academic & non-profit), and Commercial users. Please contact SIELO staff for consultation on research projects and analytical needs. Please consult with SIELO staff prior to weighing and encapsulating your own samples to ensure that appropriate sample weights are used.

Notes
1: All prices include standardization to the VPDB (δ13C, δ18O), VSMOW (δ2H, δ18O), and AIR (δ15N) international scales.
2: Isotopically enriched samples must be identified prior to submission for analysis and may be rejected at the discretion of SIELO staff.
3: Incorrectly prepared samples (e.g., too large/ small, unexpectedly high/ low elemental content) will be billed at the normal rate unless previously discussed with SIELO staff. Please contact SIELO staff if you are unsure about analytical size requirements.
4: Commercial rates incur a multiplier of 1.55 (155%) of the academic & nonprofit rate.
5: Sample weighing subject to availability. Please contact SIELO staff to inquire. On campus users are expected to prepare their own samples and reference materials.
6: On campus users only.
7: Please contact SIELO staff for scheduling calendar access.
8: Must be scheduled at least 30 days in advance. Please contact SIELO staff to schedule.
